Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of API Espresso's APIs (the "Service"), operated by API Espresso, an individual based in Pakistan. By creating an API key or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

API Espresso provides a collection of standalone APIs (each described on its own product page) accessible via API key over HTTPS. Each API's specific functionality, request limits, and pricing are described on its product page and in your chosen plan.

2. Accounts and API Keys

You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your key. Contact support@apiespresso.com immediately if you believe your key has been compromised — we will revoke and reissue it.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate any law;
  • harm, harass, or exploit others;
  • process content you don't have the right to process;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; or
  • resell raw access to the Service without a separate agreement.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section without refund.

4. Rate Limits and Quotas

Each plan has a monthly request quota and a rate limit, described on the relevant product page. Requests beyond your quota may be rejected or billed as overage, as described in your plan.

5. Payment

Paid plans are billed through Paddle.com, Inc., our payment processor and merchant of record. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's own terms and checkout process in addition to these Terms.

6. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantee at this time.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, API Espresso's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms or change/discontinue any API with reasonable notice where practical. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time via Paddle's customer portal. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms.
